The Ridgewood Association is a non-profit corporation. Annual membership dues are $25. The dues no longer cover the expenses of the Association; so many members generously donate more. Because the Association dues are minimal, the ongoing activities of the Association continue because of the volunteerism of our members. In addition to standing committees, opportunities to become involved include the spring and fall beach cleanups. first Saturday morning beach maintenance, and by Members lending their own expertise and ideas to the occasional Association improvement project.
The beach areas are perhaps the most prominent and frequently used of the common properties. Current beach regulations included on this website have been designed for the well-being and safety of the entire Ridgewood community. We particularly ask that the rules relating to age restrictions for chaperoned children and member accompaniment of guests be observed. Beach stickers are required on all vehicles and may be obtained from the Association Treasurer.
The general meetings of the Association are twice a year, in April and October, to conduct business and discuss issues affecting the Association members. A board of officers and directors is elected at the October meeting. They are responsible for managing the affairs of the Association on a day-to-day basis. If you have concerns about or ideas for improvement of the Association, you may bring them to the attention of any of the officers of directors.
If there is anything we can do to help you join our Association activities, please don’t hesitate to call on any of us.
