No rough-housing on the rafts.


All group gatherings exceeding 15 people must have prior approval by the Ridgewood Association Secretary to avoid simultaneous, large-group gatherings. In consideration of other members, guests are asked to park outside the beach area. Following a large gathering, the host must provide for the cleaning of the porta-potty the morning of the next day or as soon as the service is available.

Fireworks are not allowed on any Ridgewood Association property.

Fires on the beach are allowed only under the following conditions:


  • Two Board members have been notified prior to 2pm the day of the fire and they have obtained a fire permit from the town.
  • The fire must be in containers
  • A fire permit must be obtained from the town
  • An Association member must remain with the fire at all times until it is extinguished
  • A thorough clean-up must be done ASAP

RIDGEWOOD ASSOCIATION BEACH RULES


  1. The beach is closed from 10pm until 5am.
  2. All cars must display an authorized Ridgewood Association beach sticker in the lower left hand corner of the windshield (to be seen from outside). Any cars not having a sticker may be towed at the owner’s expense.
  3. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult when using the beach facilities. For the purpose of using the beach facilities, ad adult in considered to be someone a6 years of age or older.
  4. Members must accompany their guest(s) to the beach.
  5. Members and guests are asked to clean the picnic tables after use, and deposit water in the trash barrels.
  6. For sanitary reasons, pets must not be allowed on the beaches or in the waters near the beaches from May 1 until November 1.
  7. The area either side of the dock at the Big Beach is designated for launching of boats.
  8. The dock will be used only for pickup and discharge of passengers, leaving it free for others to use as soon as possible.
  9. For reasons of safety, the dock will not be used for waterskiing take-off.


Glass containers should not be used in the beach areas. If you do use glass containers at the beach, please take them home with you.
